ODAKE CT8830 Adhesive UV Series

ODAKE CT8830 UV Adhesive Series is a high-performance, single-component UV-curable acrylic adhesive specifically engineered for the challenging bonding of difficult plastics such as PET and APET. This advanced adhesive also offers excellent adhesion to low surface energy plastics like polypropylene (PP) and polyethylene (PE), as well as strong, durable bonds with glass, metals, and acrylics.

Featuring fast UV curing under low energy exposure, CT8830 provides a clear, colorless finish with minimal shrinkage, ensuring optical clarity and an aesthetically pleasing bond line—ideal for applications demanding precision and visual appeal. Its high bond strength and resistance to moisture, chemicals, and temperature fluctuations make it perfect for use in packaging, electronics, automotive components, and consumer goods.

This UV adhesive delivers excellent weatherability and long-term durability, maintaining bond integrity even under harsh environmental conditions. It is widely trusted in industries requiring transparent, strong, and reliable bonding solutions for plastics and mixed material assemblies.

Certified to meet industry standards including REACH and RoHS, ODAKE CT8830 ensures safe, non-toxic, and environmentally friendly performance suitable for modern manufacturing requirements.

Usage and precautions

  1. Make sure the surface of the substrate is dry, clean and free of impurities, apply the glue evenly or drip it on the part to be bonded, press the bonding part to eliminate bubbles, and cure it with ultraviolet light (UV light).
  2. Always operate in a ventilated environment
  3. Avoid returning the used product to the original packaging..
  4. Avoid contact with skin. In case of accidental contact, rinse immediately with alcohol or water; if splashed into eyes, rinse with plenty of water and seek medical attention.
  5. Keep away from children.

ODAKE CT8830 UV-curable adhesive is widely used across multiple industries where high clarity, strong adhesion, and reliability are essential. Key application areas include:

  • Jewelry and fashion accessories – crystal-clear bonding for aesthetic appeal

  • Toys and plastic components – reliable adhesion to PP, PE, PET

  • Consumer electronics – bonding of transparent covers and display components

  • LED and optical parts – clear and UV-stable bonding for light-sensitive areas

  • Glass and metal bonding – where strength and transparency are both critical

Rapid curing when exposed to sufficiently strong UV and/or visible light. For better surface curing, short wavelength (220nm to 260nm) UV light can be used. When applied between two substrates, the curing speed, curing depth and final strength are affected by light intensity, spectral distribution, exposure time, exposure distance and the light transmittance of the substrate used.
