Usage and precautions

For application, first ensure that the substrate surface is dry, clean, and free of impurities. Then, apply the glue evenly or dispense it onto the parts to be bonded. After that, press the bonding parts together to eliminate any trapped air bubbles. Finally, cure the adhesive with ultraviolet (UV) light.

For safe operation, always work in a well-ventilated area. Furthermore, do not return any unused product to the original container, as this may contaminate the remaining adhesive. Additionally, avoid direct skin contact. If accidental skin contact occurs, immediately rinse the affected area with alcohol or water. In case of eye contact, flush with plenty of water and seek medical attention promptly. Lastly, keep this product out of reach of children.

ODAKE CT8833-71 is a high-performance UV-curable adhesive specifically formulated for optical lens assembly. It delivers exceptional clarity, low shrinkage, and strong adhesion to glass, acrylic, and polycarbonate substrates.

Key benefits for optical applications include:

  • High optical transparency – minimizes light loss and maintains image quality

  • Low outgassing – prevents fogging or contamination of optical surfaces

  • Precise curing control – enables accurate positioning before final curing

  • Excellent environmental stability – resists yellowing and maintains bond strength under UV exposure and temperature changes

Therefore, CT8833-71 is an ideal choice for camera modules, optical sensors, and precision lens assemblies where optical performance and long-term reliability are critical.

Disclaimer

The technical data in this document are representative values. We obtained them through actual measurements and routine testing conducted by our laboratory.

Please note that we do not accept responsibility for any data obtained by unauthorized personnel or through testing methods that we have not approved.

Furthermore, because application conditions vary widely, you should adapt the information provided here to your specific production environment and processes.

Accordingly, Hexu Xinwang assumes no liability for individual cases. This includes, but is not limited to, any loss of profits or other consequential damages arising from the use of this product.

ODAKE CT8833-71 cures rapidly upon exposure to sufficiently strong UV and/or visible light. For enhanced surface curing, we recommend using short-wavelength UV light in the 220nm to 260nm range.

When you apply the adhesive between two substrates, several key factors directly influence the curing speed, curing depth, and final bond strength. These include light intensity, spectral distribution, exposure time and distance, as well as the light transmittance of the substrates. Therefore, we suggest adjusting these variables according to your specific production conditions to achieve consistent and reliable results.
