Usage and precautions

For application, first ensure that the substrate surface is dry, clean, and free of impurities. Then, apply the glue evenly or dispense it onto the parts to be bonded. After that, press the bonding parts together to eliminate any trapped air bubbles. Finally, cure the adhesive with ultraviolet (UV) light.

For safe operation, always work in a well-ventilated area. Furthermore, do not return any unused product to the original container, as this may contaminate the remaining adhesive. Additionally, avoid direct skin contact. If accidental skin contact occurs, immediately rinse the affected area with alcohol or water. In case of eye contact, flush with plenty of water and seek medical attention promptly. Lastly, keep this product out of reach of children.

ODAKE CT8908 UV adhesive delivers high durability, exceptional clarity, and strong resistance to environmental factors. Therefore, it is an ideal choice for demanding applications across multiple industries.

Common application areas include:

  • Automotive headlight repair and bonding – provides strong, clear bonds that withstand vibration and temperature changes

  • Outdoor electronic devices – ensures reliable waterproof sealing and protection against moisture ingress

  • Lighting fixtures – offers durable bonding for both internal and external components

ODAKE CT8908 cures rapidly when exposed to sufficiently strong UV and/or visible light. For enhanced surface curing, we recommend using short-wavelength UV light in the 220nm to 260nm range.

When you apply the adhesive between two substrates, several key factors directly influence the curing speed, curing depth, and final bond strength. These include light intensity, spectral distribution, exposure time and distance, as well as the light transmittance of the substrates. Therefore, we suggest adjusting these variables according to your specific production conditions to achieve consistent and reliable results.
